AVX Corporation has developed a wet electrolytic tantalum capacitor that features a patented high capacitance cathode system that enables high CV designs, well beyond the values specified in the Mil-PRF-39006 drawing. Designated the TWA, the wet electrolytic tantalum capacitor series is manufactured and tested to the 93026 specification, and withstands the harsh shock and vibration requirements of 39006.

Ideal for telecommunication infrastructure, networking, servers, and military and aerospace applications, the TPM mirror tantalum capacitor delivers low self-inductance (ESL) and lower equivalent series resistance (ESR) in a small package.
