Portland, ORE, March 25,2008 - The Portland Group™, a wholly-owned subsidiary of STMicroelectronics (NYSE: STM) and a leading supplier of compilers and development tools for High-Performance Computing, today announced that the IMSL® Fortran Numerical Library from Visual Numerics®, Inc. is available from The Portland Group for PGI’s line of multi-core optimizing parallel Fortran compilers running under the Microsoft Windows operating systems.
