Linear Technology announces the H-Grade version of the LT3481. The LT3481 is a 34V (36V(MAX)), BurstMode, step-down switching regulator that maintains quiescent current under 50uA.The “H” Grade version operates up to a junction temperature of 150˚C, compared to the “E” and “I” Grade versions’ 125˚C maximum junction temperature. All electrical specifications are identical for the E, I and H. The H Grade parts are tested and guaranteed to the maximum junction temperature of 150˚C. They are ideal for automotive, industrial and harsh environment applications that are subject to high ambient temperatures. |

Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX8625A, a single-inductor, H-bridge, step-up/down DC-DC converter with seamless transition switching. Maxim's patented, seamless transition H-bridge topology* utilizes three operating phases during each switching cycle to achieve glitch-free buck-boost transitions, thus ensuring highly efficient switching. The MAX8625A minimizes output-ripple variation in transitions, and provides up to 92% efficiency over a wide, 2.5V to 5.5V input-voltage range. |
LTC3539/-2: 2A, 1MHz Synchronous Boost Regulator Offers Output Disconnect & Soft-Start in a 2mm x 3mm DFN

Compact current sense transformers

EPCOS has developed two series of current sense transformers that thanks to their space-saving SMT design are particularly suitable for compact DC/DC converters. They have dimensions of only 8.33 x 7.11 mm2 and 4.7 x 3.5 mm2, respectively. The primary winding is already integrated in all types, thus saving development and placement times. Both series cover winding ratios from 1:20 to 1:125. |
