LT3481H: 34V, 2A (Isw), 2.8MHz Micropower Step-Down DC/DC Converter Offers 150˚C Maximum Junction Temperature Operation

linear.gif

Linear Technology announces the H-Grade version of the LT3481. The LT3481 is a 34V (36V(MAX)), BurstMode, step-down switching regulator that maintains quiescent current under 50uA.The “H” Grade version operates up to a junction temperature of 150˚C, compared to the “E” and “I” Grade versions’ 125˚C maximum junction temperature. All electrical specifications are identical for the E, I and H. The H Grade parts are tested and guaranteed to the maximum junction temperature of 150˚C. They are ideal for automotive, industrial and harsh environment applications that are subject to high ambient temperatures.

Compact current sense transformers

Teaser__LG,property=Data__en.jpg

EPCOS has developed two series of current sense transformers that thanks to their space-saving SMT design are particularly suitable for compact DC/DC converters. They have dimensions of only 8.33 x 7.11 mm2 and 4.7 x 3.5 mm2, respectively. The primary winding is already integrated in all types, thus saving development and placement times. Both series cover winding ratios from 1:20 to 1:125.
