Texas Instruments introduced a robust electrostatic discharge (ESD) solution that provides system-level ESD protection for eight high-speed differential lines, designed specifically for high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) and DisplayPort connectors. The TPD8S009's flow-through, single-inline pin mapping optimizes the board layout and lowers susceptibility to unwanted electromagnetic interference. Additionally, this unique architecture allows designers to easily add or remove the device without redesigning the system.
