CTIA Update: Freescale Continues to Raise the Bar on LTE Data Rates

Las Vegas, CTIA April 1, 2008 Since publicly displaying the first end-to-end LTE (Long Term Evolution) demonstration at Mobile World Congress in early February, Freescale has continued to increase the uplink and downlink of streaming high definition video at high data rates. Freescale has enhanced its LTE data rates to 182 Mbps downlink and 86 Mbps uplink in the same demonstration much higher than industry specifications.
