Renesas Technology to present high-speed, high-reliability MONOS Flash Technology at Embedded World Conference

LONDON, UK – 7th February 2008 – Renesas Technology developed the award-winning MONOS (metal-oxide-nitride-oxide-silicon) high-speed embedded Flash Technology to achieve 10ns read access time in its latest 90nm process generation. MONOS Flash is also inherently highly reliable and suitable for high temperature operation beyond 150 degrees C. MONOS Flash is winning projects around the world in applications such as engine management, industrial inverters and even white goods (motor control, induction hobs, pumps, HVAC, etc).

Renesas Technology SuperH family addition: SH7285 is single chip solution for dual industrial motor drives

LONDON, UK 14th January 2008 Renesas Technology Europe has launched its latest member of the SuperH line-up of products. The SH7285 has been designed for the high-end drives, AC servos and general-purpose inverter markets. It offers up to 768k of fast MONOS (Metal Oxide Nitride Oxide Silicon) embedded Flash enabling the CPU clock to run at 100MHz. It has all the features and characteristics necessary to control two high-end industrial drives.
