London, 17th March, 2008 Renesas Technology Europe today announced details of the RS45C, a secure MCU*1 for smart cards requiring a high level of security such as ID, banking and credit cards. The RS45C is built around the RS-4 high-performance 16-bit CPU core and integrates 36 Kbytes of electrically erasable and programmable read-only memory(EEPROM). |
