AVX Corporation has developed a family of fused tantalum capacitors that feature an internal fuse to protect against short circuits and damaging high DC leakage currents. Designated the TAW Series, the tantalum capacitor will remove itself from the circuit and into "fail safe mode" when the internal fuse exceeds the current limit. |

AVX Corporation has expanded its popular TLJ Series capacitors and developed a new tantalum capacitor that offers a higher capacitance versus voltage ratio bases on stable MnO2 electrodes. The TLJ Series capacitor is offering a 33F capacitance at 10V on a 1206 footprint with a height below 1mm. The 33F capacitor is being released in a K case size and the capacitor delivers quality sound in small handheld devices. |
