Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX6622/MAX6636 ±1°C accurate, 5-/7-channel temperature sensors. The MAX6622 accurately measures its own temperature and the temperature of up to four external locations—such as CPUs, memory, GPUs, and other heat-sensitive components—while the MAX6636 accurately measures its own temperature and up to six external locations. In both the MAX6622 and the MAX6636, one remote channel is optimized to provide accurate temperature measurements, even when used with thermal diodes on ICs operating from power supply voltages as low as 0.3V. |

EPCOS is presenting together with its subsidiary Aktiv Sensor at Sensor Test from May 6 to 8 at its stand 7-431in Hall 7. The focus is on the broad product spectrum of temperature and pressure sensors. In addition to our great variety of products, our application know-how is one of our strengths, explains Dr. Bernhard Ostrick, Vice President Sensor Systems. We manufacture wide range of application- and customer-specific sensors with the necessary interfaces, thus saving our customers time-consuming development efforts. |
PVC-free temperature sensor

With its M3000 series, EPCOS has developed a temperature sensor with a PVC-free cable that contains no halogens, environmentally harmful plasticizers or stabilizers with heavy metals. This means that no corrosive or toxic gases are released in the event of a fire, and little smoke is produced. In addition, no dioxins hazardous to health are formed at the end of its life cycle when the product is disposed of. |
