Maxim Integrated Products introduces the DS7505 ±0.5°C accurate, digital temperature sensor and thermostat with nonvolatile memory (EEPROM). The integration of nonvolatile EEPROM enables this device to power-up with a user-defined configuration and thermostat thresholds, whereas other similar devices store threshold and configuration data in volatile memory and, therefore, can only power-up in the factory-defined state. Software and pin compatible with the industry-standard LM75 and Maxim's DS75, the DS7505 is ideal for applications that require high-accuracy temperature sensing, such as base-station, telecom, networking, and medical systems. |
