Langen and Nürnberg, Germany, February 26th 2008 — Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe (FME) is pleased to announce the availability of a FreeRTOS.orgTM port on its 16FX and FR MB91460 series microcontrollers. FreeRTOS.org is a portable, open source, mini real-time kernel that is completely free to use, even in commercial applications, providing a cost-effective solution for low- and high-volume applications. OpenRTOS is available from WITTENSTEIN high integrity systems, and offers the benefits of FreeRTOS.org under a commercial licence. |
