Multi-purpose DACs target portable, high channel count systems

DALLAS (February 6, 2008) - Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) today introduced a family of quad-channel digital-to-analog converters (DAC) with ultra-low glitch (0.15nV-s) and an internal 2.5V reference with 2ppm/C temperature drift and 0.02 percent initial accuracy. This multi-purpose family of 16-, 14- and 12-bit devices offers breakthrough multi-channel performance with the combination of high accuracy, low power consumption and small footprint, making them attractive options for portable and high channel count systems in industrial process control, data acquisition and instrumentation applications.
